Copenhagen Free Walking Tours

The Free Tour concept allowes travelers to join walking tours for free and has gathered fame all over the world with the idea that you can get a fantastic tour that caters to your budget without compromising on quality. Our local guides are some of the most experienced in Copenhagen, and have been working for years to give thousands of visitors a great experience.

Our passion for our work and our city makes us wonderful guides - but only you can keep us doing what we love. We hope to tour for many years to come, and as freelance tourguides we receive no compensation outside of what guests pay at the end of our tours. That’s why we kindly ask that you pay what you consider with respect a fair and honest price for our work.

You can book your spot HERE.

Our tours run regardless of climate conditions* Since it rains 170 days on average in Copenhagen, we invite you to wear comfy shoes, warm clothes, layers and rain gear so you can fully enjoy our walk together!

Please note that 6 or more traveling together in one group need to book a private tour. Our visitors travel from all over the world to have a good time in Copenhagen, and we are well acquainted with the unique challenges of walking as a group in the city. In order to make sure everyone is safe and happy, the guides of Copenhagen Free Walking Tours ask that you abide by a few simple rules on tour. Please be respectful of these rules, and of your tour guide. We promise we’re not killjoys - just experienced in how best to navigate wonderful Copenhagen. If you need special considerations, have specific requests or are a group of 6 or more, you are welcome to book a private tour with us by emailing: copenhagenguides@gmail.com. Multiple bookings adding up to 6 or more by the same group will not be allowed on our Free Walking Tours.

*Please note that there must be five or more participants in the Free Walking Tour in order for it to run.
