Architecture:

  • Lüders konditag – Playground on a parking house
  • Superkilen – A selection of cool multicultural sqaures. Check out the red and the
    black square
  • Grundtvigs Church – Simply stunning. Simplicity at its finest. Must see in my opinion
  • Skuespilhuset – Probably my favorite building in the harbor of CPH
  • Christiania – The people of Christiania didn’t ask for permission when building their
homes. The result is an amazing collection of beautiful DIY solutions. Make sure to
move away from the busiest streets and explore
  • COBE Cafe – One of the biggest Danish offices have a café where they showcase
many interesting models of their projects

Museums:

  • National Museum – check out the exhibition about money
  • DAC – Danish Architecture Center
  • Glyptoteket – Many beautiful statues and amazing architecture
  • Louisiania – Must see. Calming experience, for the body and mind. Lousiana is
located north of CPH and can be reached by train within an hour

FOOD

From arround the world:

  • Lúa – Nice vietnamese resturant

  • Ali’s Bageri – Bakery with crazy value

  • Meyers Bageri – Great bakery

Brunch:

  • Kalaset – Nice place to have brunch
  • Stefanos Coffee and Food – Good place to grab a sandwich
  • Stefanos Pizza

Fastfood:

  • Hubb kitchen – Nice burgers

  • Gasolin – Was ranked as the best burger in the world at one point

  • Turning Chicken – Tasty and nice if you are on a budget. Very good value

  • Sheik Shawarma – The shawarma of my childhood

  • Take and Eat – Currently the best shawarma in CPH

  • Isted Grill – They do an incredible roast pork sandwich. A staple of Danish cousine
    (“flæskestegssandwich” in Danish)

Markets:

  • Reffen – Super cool street food market, just by the water. The neighborhood hasn’t
been gentrified yet, which also nice to experience

  • Torvehallerne – Not cheap, but delicious food market

Beer:

  • Tuborg Classic – The preferred beer of the Copenhageners. Great session beer
