Copenhagen Free Walking Tours is a group of local tour guides who have lived in and loved Copenhagen for many years. We enjoy our work so much that we have become one of the highest-rated tours on TripAdvisor with 7000+ reviews! It is free to join our tip-based walking tours, we welcome tips at the end of each tour and the amount you want to tip your guide is completely your decision. Our organization consists of a small union of freelance guides, who provide these tours of Copenhagen. In order to continue running these tours in Copenhagen, all guides pay a marketing fee to "Guided Tours Copenhagen ApS" based on the number of guests who participated in the tour. The marketing fee goes towards our website, adminsitrative costs of running the business, marketing through various channels, paying for bookings booked through external bookings sites .The current marketing fee for the Grand Tour of Copenhagen is 15 DKK per guest.The Classical Tour of Copenhagen and The Christianshavn Tour the marketing fee is 7.50 DKK per guest. Your support and directly booking on our website, ensures that we can kee costs down and continue to offering pay what like concept  walking tours. 

We are running our beloved walking tours a bit differently during the times of Covid-19. As of October 2021. We encourange booking in advance in order to make sure we have enough guides to have smaller sized groups. We encourage our guests to pay via card to avoid the exchange of cash. We want you to feel safe while we are sharing the lovely stories, history and sites that Copenhagen has to offer!
