Once upon a time in Copenhagen, a beautiful baby girl with brown hair and blue eyes was born. In an attempt to ensure that she could never stray too far from home, her parents decided to give her a name that wouldn’t make sense to anyone outside of Denmark. She discovered this 20 years later when she travelled to Australia and had to start telling people that her name was Reggae. Fewer people believed her when she told them her father was actually Bob Marley, but it was worth a try. This travel addict seems to have developed a pattern, she only stays in DK until she has saved up enough to go travelling again. However, she always seems to find her way back to her beloved CPH. She currently lives happily ever after among the happiest people in the world.
Penny and her husband quit their office jobs in San Diego, California to travel and work as digital nomads for two and a half years. They loved Copenhagen and decided to settle down in one of the most livable cities in the world. Penny has moved around quite a bit and called many cities home but Copenhagen is truly unique and magical. A list of things she loves: travelling, coffee, cats, crocheting, reading, varying adaptations of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, anti-aging beauty products, and food. She hopes to share with you the reasons she fell in love with Copenhagen.
Laura moved to Denmark from the mythical land of castles and Dracula, Transylvania, Romania. With a love for exploring the city, doing photography, to great streetfood and anything design-ish, she switched from an inside 9-5 office job to an outside office which is the city itself! Couldn't be more fitting, she loves it and can't wait to share her favourite spots around the city with other people as well.
Dan O. came to Denmark in 2006 where he met the love of his life and has been here in Copenhagen ever since, apart from a few trips back home to Australia. He enjoys visiting new places and loves to talk about his travel experiences with other well travelled people. He looks forward to sharing his knowledge about Copenhagen with you.
Originally from Australia, Wayne found himself in Denmark in 2014 for Christmas with his Danish partners family, he has called Copenhagen home ever since. The mix of one of the most progressive societies in the world with a love of tradition was too much to resist. Whether it’s nose deep in a book of Danish history or sampling the sweet delights of the local bakeries, Wayne loves to immerse himself in the local culture. Why is there such a big smile on his face, join the tour and learn about Copenhagen and the Danes and find out!
